The Tamil Nadu Electricity Bord(TNEB) has approved the proposed expansion of the Pillai-perumalnallur combined cycle power project. The approval has been given to Apollo Infrastructure Projects Finance Co Ltd, the main promoter of the first phase.The expansion will be carried out by a separate company that will be named PPN Power Generating Co Unit II Ltd.
