The Balaji group promoted fuel oil base 106 mw power plant in Samayanallur, Tamil Nadu, has become the first short-gestation power project in the state to have signed an escrow agreement with the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board (TNEB). The agreement, which was signed by the utility and the independent power producer (IPP) on Wednesday, assigns some 55 collection centre to the project promoters.
