The tribal Students' Federation, an umbrella organisation of 14 native students' unions on Thursday rejected the Lepetkatta site for the proposed Assam Gas Cracker complex. Their contention is that the Lepetkatta site would affect a substantial native population, and hence demands that another site be selected for the mega industry.
