The Tripura Chief Minsiter, Mr Manik Sarkar, has said steps have been taken by his government to make Tripura a model State in terms of achieving self-sufficiency in food grains production by 2010 and maximising utilisation of Central funds meant for the people. The Government is also making continuous efforts to expand the administrative set up in rural areas to cater to the needs of the rural mass.
