Three refineries in the country have declared their capabilities to produce low sulphur diesel (ULSD) with a sulphur content of less than 0.05 per cent. They are the refinery commissioned recently by Reliance, the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) refinery in Gujarat and now, the Mangalore Refineries and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL).
