The UN Under Secretary General and UNDP Administrator Mr. Mark Mallock Brown has said that the concept of Knowledge centre and bio villages operated by the M. S. Swaminathan Research Foundation in Pondicherry since the last few years had been a most significant and crucial activity as it had been instrumental in establishing rural development in an impressive manner.
