The Haryana Government has decided to clean and disinfect all underground water storage tanks mechanically and chemically. The Executive Engineer, Public Works Department, Public Health Division, Gurgaon, informed that the work for cleaning and disinfecting groundwater tanks has started in Gurgaon. There are 12 boosting stations where 20 underground storage tanks exist, which had not been disinfected since these were constructed.
