The Chhattisgarh Government will receive a grant of Rs. 5 crores under the United Nations Development Programme for development in various sectors. The funds will primarily be used in seven sectors, including drafting of ' vision document ' and various policies of the State, preparation of ' human development report', training of officers, welfare of tribal people and backward classes, implementation of information technology for the upliftment of economically backward section of the society and drought control measures.
