Mumbai-based Unichem Laboratories plans to set up a dedicated facility at Roha in Maharashtra to manufacture a range of bulk drugs scheduled to go off patent in advanced market by 2000. Unichem's plans to cash in on its generics strength comes alongside hectic preparations to hit the domestic market with its Viagra clone within 12 months, subject to the receipt of all regulatory clearances.
