The Electrical Trades Union said yesterday it may lift "green bans" on building the Latrobe Valley gas-fired electricity generator after talks with the Victorian Government. ETU state secretary Dean Mighell said it would depend on discussions with Edison Mission Energy about the environmental impact of the generator and its long-term use.
