US gas giant, Unocal Corporation, with $9 billion worth of assets, is prepared to lay an underwater natural gas pipeline from Bangladesh to Andhra Pradesh and another one over the surface to Delhi through Calcutta. The latter project may call for an investment of close to $1.2 billion and would take five to seven years to complete.
