Construction work at Enron's Dabhol power project could be heading towards a grinding halt, following the decision by Indian financial institutions (IFIs), led by IDBI, to stop further disbursement of debt to the Dabhol Power Company (DPC). When contacted by ET, Neil McGregsor, president and CEO of DPC, refused to comment.
