The public-sector NTPC has won the bout against ailing UP State Electricity Board (UPSEB) over the payment of dues with the latter agreeing 'in principle' to hand over the operational 3x30 MW Maneri Bhali stage I hydel project as well as the languishing 4x76 MW stage II of the project to NTPC in lieu of outstanding dues.
