Urban facilities would be provided to the villages in six-kilometre periphery for 14 major towns with Rs 5 crore for each village under a new scheme in Jammu and Kashmir. Provision of Urban Amenities in Rural Areas (PURA) for development of rural clusters around all the important towns in a phased manner in five years.
