U.S. Energy Secretary Spencer Abraham yesterday ordered a review of Energy Department research programs that promote renewable fuels to find out which ones are most effective. The review was called for under the Bush administration's new national energy plan, and will be conducted concurrently with a review announced last week of the department's energy efficiency programs.
