While the Americans became tight-fisted when it came to parting with funds for India, in a post-Pokhran scenario, there has been no change of heart in granting funds in return for India's assent to the Montreal Protocol.As per recent figures available, the US seems to have approved nearly $24,88,326 for Ozone depleting substances to be phased out gradually by India.
