The US Government has put forward a new proposal for a triparty science and technology forum which will concentrate on environmental and energy issues. The forum would initiate a dialogue with industry, academia and government agencies to evolve an agenda for action, said Melina Kimble, US Assistant Secretary of State in charge of oceans and inter-national environmental and scientific affairs.
