The use of wind energy is set to reach "an historic milestone" this month, according to the International Energy Agency, the Paris-based energy arm of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. It predicts that worldwide wind energy capacity is about to reach 10,000MW, which is enough to supply the electricity needs of two cities the size of Madrid.
