Uttaranchal ministers cross swords over Tehri rehabilitation

The ongoing war of attrition between two Ministers in the Tiwari Cabinet over the handling of the rehabilitation of Tehri Dam oustees has hotted up further with the Congress high command now taking an interest in the issue. The two Ministers, both of whom hail from the Tehri district, have been crossing swords for some time now. It all started when Minister of State for Industrial Development Kishore Upadhyaya took on Cabinet colleague Shoor Vir Singh Sajwan, who is and In-charge of the rehabilitation of the Tehri Dam oustees, and accused both the Central and State Governments of negelecting the interests of the dam affected people.
