Despite opposition from its own MLAs, Delhi government is all set to table the controversial amendment to Delhi Water Board Act 1998, which regulates ground water extraction, in the forthcoming winter session. The government is likely to be pushed to a corner in this session of Assembly, as a number of embarrassing issues are set to come up for discussion, primarily relating to sealing and demolition.
