Experts have expressed concern over the continuing depletion of ground water levels in the South Asian countries and the growing contamination of the surface water due to unhealthy pactices in agriculture and industry. The Rajasthan Governor, Anshuman Singh, in his inaugural address suggested restoring to age old and time tested traditional practices in water conservation to tide over the water crisis.
