Water crisis has assumed alarming proportion due to the prolonged dry spell posing serious threat to Kharif crops. The acute water shortage has created a big problem for the economy, which is already confronted with various problems. The delicacy of the situation could be gauged from the fact that water supply from Pakistan's dams to Punjab and Sindh provinces have immediately been stopped, reports VOA.
