Large quantities of good quality ground water have been discovered in the hard rock aquifers of Murdarghar Range in Quetta valley, Pakistan.According to a report submitted at the Third South Asia Geological Congress which concluded in Lahore on Tuesday, the discovery should relieve the residents from the fears of Quetta becoming a ghost city as a result of large-scale forced migration of population from it in view of growing shortage of potable water.
