The power and water tariff in the Capital are likely to be hiked follwing Planning Commission's observation that their prices needs to be restructured. The Deputy Chairman of Planning Commission, Mr K C Pant, during the annual plan discussions with the Delhi Chief Minister, Ms Sheila Dikshit, reportedly emphasised the need to restructure water tariff and cover up the 30 per cent gap between the cost of supply and tariff of power.
