Klang Valley (Malaysia) residents expressed sympathy yesterday over environmental damage that the Sungai Selangor dam project may have. But if the bottom line is regular water supply, then they want the dam built. After experiencing dry taps last year, Klang Valley folk made it clear that they want uninterrupted water supply no matter what it takes. "We regret that the cost for having normal supply is by chopping primary jungle and affecting the lives of orang asli," said Section 5 resident Derrick Fernandez.
