With the mercury-soaring high, water crisis has deepened to such an entent in the Queen of Hills that Shimla Municipal Corporation, which meet the water needs of nearly over one lakh population inluding those living in the suburbs on the municipal periphery, had resorted to rationing of water. Now, water would be supplied to the Shimalites on alternate days. Already the Shimlaties get water supply once a day.
