The World Bank has approved a loan of 250 pound million towards a Health and Population Programme Project in Bangladesh.The project's total cost is 2.9 pound billion. The government of Bangladesh has allocated 2.2 pound billion to support the programme and the Bank's funding will come from its concessionary lending agency, the International Development Association(IDA).
