Tamil Nadu has been continuously urging the Centre to quickly implement the Peninsular Rivers Project of the National Water Development Agency, the Public Works Minister, O. Pannerselvam said. In a statement, he said the Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa, had been repeatedly moving the Centre to expedite peninsular rivers development and allocate sufficient funds for the implementation of projects involving inter-linking of rivers.
