Wind energy can provide 10 percent of the world's electricity needs by 2020, creating 1.7 million new jobs and reducing pollution, according to new report unveiled yesterday. The report, commissioned by environmental group Greenpeace, the European Wind Energy Association and the Forum for Energy and Development, found that 1.2 million Megawatts of wind power could be installed worldwide by 2020.
