The third demonstration wind energy project of north India and Rajasthan at Phalodi in Jodhpur district has began generation on March 9, three weeks ahead of schedule. The project has eight wind energy generators of 350 KW each erected at a height of 60 metres. It has already fed 18,000 units of electricity to the Grid in the first three days.
