Wind power is the fastest-growing form of energy in Britain, and industry experts predict that by 2005 it will supply 1.6 percent of the nation's electricity.Ministers are championing projects in order to achieve the government's commitment under the Kyoto agreement to generate 10 percent of power from renewale sources by 2010.The 857 ginat turbines in 67 wind farms in far-flung locations around the British Islea will be joined this year by another 100.
