The Rajasthan State Power Corporation Ltd (RSPCL) is setting up a pilot project for the generation of electricity by harnessing wind energy in Jaisalmer with assistance from the ministry of non-conventional energy sources. The corporation is a wholly-owned state government enterprise initially incorporated for the 140 MW integrated solar combined cycle project at Mathania. This corporation is now emerging as non-conventional power generation arm of the state government.
