Wolfensohn extends Rs 2000 cr aid to contain poverty in AP

The World Bank President James D Wolfenshon has announced a fund sanction to the tune of Rs 2,000 crore to the AP government supporting the proposed 'Rural Poverty Reduction Project'."This amount will be program-linked and released in phases', the bank's president told the press persons here on Friday on the final day of his two-day state visit.
