After several years of delay, the 2000 mw nuclear power project at Koodankulam has shown signs of take-off. Russian and Indian nuclear engineers have started working on a $57 million Detailed Project Report (DPR) which would be the blue print of two 1000 mw reactors to be built at Koodankulam.
