A workshop on "Energy options for rural communities " being organised by he Maulana Azad College of Technology, Bhopal, in collaboration with Britain's Department for International Development today underscored the crucial importance of non-conventional energy sources for rural electrification in order to give a thrust to development in rural areas and improve the quality of life there.
