Pakistan must resolve remaining issues on its independent power producers (IPP) to win more money from the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, Bank President James Wolfensohn said on Tuesday. "We continue at the front line of the trying to resolve these issues," Wolfensohn said, nothing that 70 percent of targets had been met. "New lending of the Bank and the Fund is dependent on resolution of IPP issues so there is considerable reason for the Pakistan Government to act."
