A joint mission on World Bank and Department (DFID) indicated that Orissa might be provided a substantial budgetary support to tide over its current fiscal problems. The assistance to be provided will not be project specific as has been the norm so far, the mission officials said at the end of their ten-day visit to Orissa to finalise sanction of funds to support governance and fiscal reforms in the state.
