World Bank funds for rebuilding roads in Kendrapara, damaged in the 29 October, 1999 super cyclone, continue to lie idle even as the road condition in the district headquater town has gone from bad to worse. World Bank had streamlined a little more than Rs one crore for renovation of asphalt roads in Kendrapara after the last cyclone disposal of the Orissa State Disaster Mitigation Authority for better known of the road project.
