Accessibility, availability and acceptability of energy are the three fundamental goals to be achieved in the next century, according to the World Energy Congress statement, 2000 on 'Energy for Tomorrow's World-Acting Now'. Addressing these goals is fundamental to political stability worldwide, to the energy business strategy and for achieving a sustainable future for the world, the statement says.
