After palle baata and nagara baata, it is now project baata for Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy, who believes in redressing peoples' problems through mass contact programmes. As part of this new programme, Dr Reddy has decided to visit all the proposed major irrigation project sites in the state. Starting August 27, the chief minister would visit areas where major irrigation projects are proposed to be set up, to review the status of land acquisition, rehabilitation packages, ongoing works and project designs, sources in the chief minister's office said.
