Japan CO2 emissions up 1.1 pct yr/yr in 2000/01
Japan's emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) due to energy consumption in the fiscal year ended March 2001 rose by 1.1 percent from a year earlier to about 1.16 billion tonnes, the Trade Ministry said.
