ENVIRONMENTAL COURTS
Bangladesh will soon introduce environmental courts to enforce strict laws on conservation. The courts will try cases under tough new legislation. There will be seven courts in total, two of which will be in the capital city Dhaka and the other five in divisional headquarters. According to government officials, the courts will start functioning early next year.
