Greens on wheels
A cycling marathon with a difference, Eurobike Tour '95 will see 20 cyclists pedal their way through 40 European towns this year. The non-competitive marathon is part of the Russian national programme for the European Conservation Year 1995. The greens on wheels will flag off their tour from Moscow in June, and return in May 1996, after having covered 15,549 km. Organised by the Track Club of Irkutsk, Siberia, the tour will hold environment-related press conferences, exhibitions and seminars.
