Rs one billion allocated for Fata forests development
The government has allocated one billion rupees for the development of the forests in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata). Federal Minister for Environment, Hameedullah Jan Afridi on Monday announced this while chairing a high level meeting with a five-member delegation of IUCN. The Minister said that a strong monitoring system would be evolved for timely execution of the development projects besides ensuring proper utilisation of funds.
