Two-thirds of Nagarbari ferry ghat eroded by Jamuna
The Nagarbari ferry ghat is going to disappear as its two-third portion has been eroded by the river Jamuna over the past few days. The lone concrete road to the ghat is also facing the threat of erosion as the river is swelling rapidly. Local people dumped sand, bamboo and timber to protect the area from erosion.
