Resource book of environmental education
Human success stories are marked by struggle to control and thereby interfere with the environment since time immemorial. Due to indiscriminate exploitation of environment, the survival of human being is at stake. There is a need to transform the prevailing mindset to recognise long term limits that nurtures rather than jeopardize the ecological system. Education is an instrument of trnasforming the mindsets. Education for the environment, education about the environment and education through the environment is the only alternative to bring the capability between quality of life and quality of environment. Considering the above view point, an effort has been made in this book to address the emerging trends in environmental education.
