Clean up act
After figuring in the list of 27 most polluted cities in India, Kochi in Kerala has decided to advance the deadline for the conversion of all vehicles to Euro-II norms from 2005. In view of the high pollution levels, the Kerala State Pollution Control Board has been directed to submit an action plan by the end of October 2002.
