CSE roundtable discussion with stakeholders on the draft policy document of the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission, Phase II
Centre for Science & Environment organised a discussion on the recently released draft policy document on the second phase of the national solar mission on 22 December, 2012. Representatives from the industry, NGOs and state government attended the discussion.
The discussions raised issues on financing and manufacturing in the on-grid sector by the attendees. A complete revamp of the off-grid programme structure and financing mechanism was finalised in the meeting.
