"The idea behind this blog is simple: to track the cola controversy. The stand of this blog on the issue is as simple: cola companies must come clean or just shut up,' says blogger Subir Ghosh. This blog has come up in the wake of the Centre for Science and Environment's (CSE) recent report on pesticides in soft drinks.

Its notings are fairly detailed. It has summaries of the two CSE reports on pesticides in soft drinks, reaction of the soft drink majors, the press coverage of the controversy and the latest developments. The site also contains reactions of the pesticide companies. Agrochemicals Pesticide Group (APG) chairperson S Kumarasamy is reported as saying, "The pesticide residues found in the soft drinks are not detrimental to humans as they are within prescribed limits." Ghosh then takes Kumarasamy to task for this statement. For, the APG has admittedly not even taken care to analyse the CSE report on pesticides.
