Your goose is cooked In the monsoon session of parliament, beginning July 2006, the government proposes to table the Food Safety and Standards Bill (fssb), which it says will assure food safety for all. The bill will replace the present Prevention of Food Adulteration (pfa) Act, the Essential Commodities Act and repeal other food-related legislations at the state level.
